The Village of Brookville is an incorporated area located in the Town of Oyster Bay, in Nassau County, NY. It has a total area of approximately 4 square miles. Brookville is situated north of Jericho, south of Old Brookville and Upper Brookville, east Old Westbury, and west of Muttontown. The main east/west roadways serving the area are the Long Island Expressway, Northern State Parkway, Northern Boulevard, and Jericho Turnpike. The major north/south roadways serving the area include Route 106 and Route 107. The only public bus service available to the area runs along Northern Boulevard and Route 107. Although rail service is not available within Brookville, the Long Island Railroad's Hicksville, Westbury, and Greenvale stations are nearby. Brookville is a residential community and also home of the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Schools, hospitals, houses of worship as well as golf courses, both public and private, are conveniently located throughout the area. Places of interest: Brookville Reformed Church, one of the country's longest existing church congregations. Notable residents: Marc Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez lived together in Brookville prior to their separation in July of 2011. Another famous musician, Burt Bacharach (pianist), also resides in the village. Brookville is served by the zip codes of 11545 and 11548. The estimated 2010 population is 4,094 (including the C.W.
